The concept of MBA is highly misunderstood here in India. Internationally, MBA programs are designed for individuals who have a minimum three years of experience and are meant for those who wish to take up senior level positions within an organization. If we may compare Indian MBA with international MS programs as these programs are meant for freshers. (Though a few universities overseas do offer Fresher MBA programs to lure Indian students). Therefore, being a fresher look for MS in Management programs internationally. Countries like Australia, NZ, France, UK (programs with internships) etc do offer stay back options to the students post completion of the course. I hope this helps!

Pokuri, don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. So I would suggest, better to study Computer Science engineering. If you want to sail through vast sea go with Marine engineering. If you have not decided what you want to do after B.Tech, sit for one or two days and decided what you want to do. If still confused, select any of the engineering mentioned in point # 1, 2 and 3 (Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics). Best of luck.

To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful in your chosen field.

As for the job opportunities are concerned, well there are reservation everywhere but this does not restricts you from getting a good job opportunities provided you have good academic track record and fulfill other requisites as require by the companies based on the vacancies available.

No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers.
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.
