The duration of Masters in US and Canada is two years. Actually the university functions only for 60 weeks in this 104 weeks. Balance 44 weeks, that is 22 weeks in one year are all holidays, like 2 months Christmas holidays 2 months summer holidays. The effective University function is only 60 weeks.
In Australia and Newzeland it is one and half years. Here also the university functions for 60 weeks only. Now it does not mean that 2 years they study more and one and half year they study less. It is more holidays and less holidays.
Whatever is taught in US/Canada in two years and Austrlia/NZ in one and half years is taught in UK in 50 weeks. Yes in one year course you have only 2 weeks holidays. It is the same you have been taught in other countries.
UK is one of the costliest country in the world but to do a post graduation it is the cheapest. This is because it is one year program. The education system they follow is one of the best and they force you to study. Those who finished successfully will couch for this. You always learn the latest in the field and 40% of the world's Phd's are coming out of UK Universities.

The ideal options are: M.COM, Law, MBA, CA/CS, etc.
However, if you have core interest in programming, networking, database administration, pick MCA.
Go for regular study if have studied Maths in class XII.
Without Maths, you can opt the following ways-
1. Pick Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications which will make you eligible for 2nd year M.C.A through lateral entry and simultaneously pursue DOEACC A Level.
2. Distance M.C.A with I.G.N.O.U as it allows you to clear Maths exam and then proceed with the master program.
Simultaneously, you can opt for industry relevant certifications in order to enhance the career opportunities.

Course Requirements / Eligibility
Eligibility:- 10+2 With PCM.
Admission is through the entrance exam of UGAT, conducted by the University of Allahabad in the month of June.
The Admission Test will be of 2 hours duration. Total 150 questions from multiple choice questions.
For every correct answer 03 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer 01 mark will be deducted.
1. General English or General Hindi (Select any one)- 20 questions
2. General Awareness- 10 questions
3. Science Group- 120 questions
There will be 40 questions in each of the following four subjects :
1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3.Mathematics
4. Biology.
Candidates of Maths stream have to select 120 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Thanx @aniket for your tag but with most humbly I would say that none of the specializations mentioned by you are done by a Marine engineer. Infact, Marine engineers design, maintain, and repair the mechanical/electrical /electronic/ computer systems that are used in aircraft carriers, sailboats, submarines, cargo ships, oil tankers, ice-breakers, flotillas and other marine vessels.
In some cases, marine engineers are responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of the equipment they design. For example, they may need to oversee the group of electricians who install an electrical system to make sure that their work meets the design requirements.
Some marine engineers advance into roles as sales engineers, where they're able to use their knowledge of engineering to sell products. Others become engineering managers, where they lead a team of marine engineers in the design of different products.
Note that Marine engineers are different from naval architects. Naval architects design the ship itself, not the mechanical systems that make it run.
Most marine engineers split their time between working in an office environment and visiting work sites.
In the office, marine engineers use advanced computer software to design engineering solutions. At work sites, they supervise the construction of engineering components and address any design issues that arise during the building process.
Some marine engineers have to travel on ships to test or maintain systems that they have designed. In these cases, it may be required to be away from home for long periods of time.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required to get a job as a marine engineer.
