Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering & Technology (SDMCET) is definitely better than many aspects when compared to KLE Technological University (B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVBCET). SDMCET provides better placements in many branches and has very high placement ratio as compared to BVB as the number of students in KLE Tech are more, even for management studies SDMCET has performed better in very less time.

Hi,
If you belong to open category, then I think you have chances of getting these colleges through CAP rounds. I will suggest you to wait till 3rd round with floating option. This time I am hoping that cut off will come down little bit as JBIMS has started M.Sc Finance. Keep IES and Indira also in your list. All the best. Hope for best.

Neotia University has got decent faculty members and placement statistics.
Think in terms of what you are looking for in that institute to learn. Don't just go blindly for any institute. Do some research, find the area which you want to specialize in, etc.
