1. Both MBA and PGDM are post graduation degrees. The only technical difference between them is that only universities or university affiliated institutes can offer MBA whereas autonomous institutes duly approved by AICTE can offer 2 yrs full time PGDM program, which is in all aspects technically equivalent to MBA. Any where for Job they are considered as equal, if you want to pursue Phd you can do it after completing 2 yrs full time AICTE Approved PGDM program.
2) Course curriculum:
There is a guideline given by UGC and AICTE respectively for these programs. In case of university since university is the examination authority the curriculum is more focussed on theory since symmetry can be maintained only if the same syllabus is taught in the similar fashion. Whereas in case of PGDM since the examination authority is the instiute they have there own syllabus and focus more on practical exposure along with theoritical teaching. The institutes provide due weightage to corporate interface for the students which is required for functioning better in the industry. That is one of the reason you will find very few top notch B schools providing MBA, the list is too small the best example of top notch B School providing MBA is FMS New Delhi. Apart from this the top B Schools provide PGDM the list is too long few examples of the same are IIM's, XLRI, GIM etc.
In nut shell MBA focuses more on theoretical aspects and is more exam-oriented, PGDM focusses on building skills and is industry-oriented. It prepares you for the job market. That is the foremost reason for doing PG in management.
In MBA the syllabus is university specific whereas in PGDM it is institute specific.

Kriti, If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good learning can get you jobs in teaching as well as freelance work. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose.
