1. Both MBA and PGDM are post graduation degrees. The only technical difference between them is that only universities or university affiliated institutes can offer MBA whereas autonomous institutes duly approved by AICTE can offer 2 yrs full time PGDM program, which is in all aspects technically equivalent to MBA. Any where for Job they are considered as equal, if you want to pursue Phd you can do it after completing 2 yrs full time AICTE Approved PGDM program.

It depends on your reason for doing MBA distance learning. If it is a requirement of degree of MBA only then the cheapest option is the best option which is IGNOU or Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University. But in case if you are a fresher and doing MBA / PGDM for the getting into a job. I would suggest you to look out for a regular MBA / PGDM instead of distance learning program.
