Hello Mandira, of course you can seek admission for graduation in engineering based on your Diploma in engineering. You will definitely get admission in 2nd year of the four year degree course in what is called as lateral process of admission. For this you need to follow the guidelines that are given by the state from which you had done your Diploma. Some States have prescribed an entrance test for the Diploma holders while other states give admission to graduation in engineering based on the marks obtained by the student in Diploma examination.
