A bachelor's degree in architecture or Diploma is needed to become a qualified architect.
The basic eligibility criteria is 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subjects. Besides this, the candidate must qualify an entrance exam.

-National Aptitude test in Architecture(NATA), the online test with drawing measuring aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking, perception, observation and architectural awareness.
A successful architect requires special qualifications like designing talent, business aptitude, social awareness and legal knowledge, excellent communication and drawing skills, keen observation, creativity, ability to visualize, etc.

Hi Saikat, West Bengal Civil Service Examination (WBCS) is conducted by West Bengal Public Service Commission for recruitment of executive officers in government. On the basis of performance in examination candidates are recruited in various administrative posts.
The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in this examination is a graduate degree.
