Hi Ashwani,
Preparing for CAT is best done with a coaching institute of good reputation like IMS, TIME and Career Launcher. You can take their classroom courses or correspondence courses to receive guidance on various aspects of preparation, sample tests, areas of improvement etc. The CAT exam largely has questions on Maths, English vocabulary and comprehension and Logical reasoning. However, if you are very busy & can not attend classes or coaching you can wish to improve your performance in English, it will help to a) read a lot of news magazines esp. on subjects you are not familiar with to improve your comprehension abilities b) wor

Hi Viraj,
There are many good collages with good placement record. But It is tough to state which one is better as every institute has it's own plus and minus points. You need to check certain parameters before joining any institute such as:
*recognition.
*success rate.
*how old the institute is.
*course details.
*faculty.
*alumni feedback.
*Specialization offered.
*Past placements records.
*Tuition fees.
*City preference.
*Industry interface etc.
So, think and decide wisely.
Some colleges to mention:
-Amity Business School, Noida
-Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship, Bangalore
-Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow
-SCMS Cochin Sch

With this score , you may apply in many good colleges, but prior applying you must do some research to find out which are the colleges that provide proper educational facilities, faculties as well as placements. Apart from that you must also take into consideration the location factor since safety matters a lot.
