The placements in finance field is good. Companies that came this year for placements in finance are AVENDUS CAPITAL, ICICI SECURITIES, ZEE ENTERTAINMENT, MAHINDRA FINANCE, KARVY FINANCE, YES BANK and ICICI BANK and there are more to come.
The highest package is 5.5 lac.

Hi Snigdha,
No, while all bachelor programs are free in German Public Universities, many Master’s program may have a nominal fee. However, most of the MS programs do not have a tuition fee. This does not mean it is free. There are other fees like accommodation, university semester fee, etc. This is rather nominal.
Also, many universities accept GATE and some even require it mandatory. Others require a GRE score. Basically, it would depend on the course and the university.

As you have mentioned that your scores are in between of 50-60% in your 10th and 12th. So, I think it is doubtful that you will get a call and even if they call you, if you would score 90% in CAT, there is a possibility that they will give priority to one who have a continuous good scores from 10th to graduation and in CAT and one who have good working experiences. But that's not end of all. There are good colleges where you can easily apply and you will be given weightage over others if your CAT score will be in 90s. So, don't lose your heart and start working.
