Good choice. Nitte Institute of Communication is a very good place for BA (JMC). It has good faculty and program. I am sure you'll come out as a very confident, ethical and a well-informed graduate from there. Did you get the seat there? If not, try the management quota. The fee is the same, I am told.

Media is growing at the rate of 12% to 15 % while the country's growth rate is hardly 4.5% to 5 %. So the scope is very good. Apart from a growing number of TV channels, newspapers, magazines, radio channels and WWW, is the possibility of starting your own web design and content company OR an Ad and PR Firm OR Corporate Filmmaking Firm. So you can either be an employee or an entrepreneur. For entrepreneurship, Ii'd recommend MA (JMC) OR MA (IMC) at Nitte or going abroad.
