1: PM Narendra Modi Scholarship (Chaatravriti Scholarship Yojana): It is for students of class 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th who cannot afford higher studies. Under this Rs 80,000 Scholarship are giving to 25,000 students with a Science background. Scholarship worth Rs 10,000 to Maths, Commerce and Other branches to Rs 11,000 students of Uttar Pradesh. Eligibility Criteria : The student from economically weaker families receives preference. The candidate should have a score of at least 75% in class 12th to apply for the scholarship.
2. Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship : This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to worthy students of the minority community who wish to study further. The beneficiary students will get tuition-fee and maintenance allowance to pursue a technical/professional course on the Graduation or Post-Graduation level. The beneficiary gets a monthly reward of Rs 1,000 for ten months. Thus, in a year he/she gets 10,000. There is an additional reward of 20,000 to pay the tuition fee. Eligibility criteria : Those students who get admission in the professional/ technical course through a Common Admission process are eligible for the scholarship. Those students who get admission in the professional/technical course without Common Admission Test can also get this scholarship provided they should have a score of 50%v marks in the Class 12th exam. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 2.50 Lacs. Students receive rewards on merit-basis. The applicant should have Aadhaar Card. There is a reserved share of 30% for female candidates.
3. L'Real scholarship Scheme for Young Women in Science : The LOreal scholarship is for girl students who wish to pursue their career in the Science discipline. It aims at encouraging young women in Science. Selected girl applicants get up to Rs 2.50 Lacs in equal annual installments to pursue their career in Science/ technical field. Eligibility Criteria : The girl student should have a minimum aggregate of 85% marks in class 12th PCB/PCM. Maximum age of this scholarship is 19 years. The shortlisted students receive a call for an interview.
4. Indian Oil Scholarship Scheme for Students : It aims at providing financial support to bright students of the weaker sections to pursue professional courses. Those selected for this scholarship get the tuition fee for the professional course which they are pursuing. Besides this, they might also get 10, 000 annually to pay for their study.
