You can get CSE only in the Chennai, Bhopal and Amravathi campuses but your rank is a little low to get the main campus, i.e. Vellore campus of VIT University.

There are no particular cut-off marks to get computer science engineering and electronics and communication engineering at SRM University.
To get a seat for CSE or ECE at the main campus, your rank should be atleast below 6000.

177 out of 315 is not a bad score. So, with this score, your rank will be around INR 16000-20000. This means, you will have the chances of getting the courses like ECE, mechanical, chemical, civil, mechatronics etc. in the main campus. To get CSE, you need to go for other campuses only.

Usually, BBA and MBA students need not worry much for placements as long as they are doing the course from a reputed college.
B-Schools have a very good placement records - 80% to 100% depending on the college tanking.
As far as Acharya Bangalore B-School is concerned - 80% to 90% placement record.
