Hi,
Let us look at it this way: ask yourself:Why do I want to drop a year ? Do I want to try for IITs? or NITs? If yes, then you can consider dropping a year.
Again joining the college is your personal decision and depends on your aspirations. Also, before joining any college, you may want to consider a few factors:
-Accreditation of the college (whether the college offers AICTE approved programs)
-Academic background and experience of the faculty
-Corporate Interface (seminar/workshops )
-Placements
-Fees/Infrastructure
Good Luck!

Hi,
Both the course you mentioned are good to pursue, and both offers good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities.
I would suggest that before opting for any course you must first decide in which field you wish to build your career and accordingly you can select the best course as per your interest and liking.
As a student you should give your 100% in whichever course you opt for, and if you do well then getting a good job with handsome salary should not be a problem.
Feel free to raise more questions. Appreciate by giving it thumbs up or marking as best.
All the Best.
