Yes you may surely pursue BMS, please remember every institute has its own course specific eligibility criteria for admission, in order to know the exact eligibility criteria it would be always advisable to browse through the institute's website you wish to apply.
Overall, in order to pursue BMS you need to be 12th pass from any stream with good academic record preferably 50% in 12th, plus you need to take entrance test conducted by various institutes.
The BMS program usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific concentrations.
The degree is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional areas of a company, and their interconnection, while also allowing for specialization in a particular area.
The degree also develops the student's practical managerial skills, communication skills and business decision-making capability.
Some of the subjects covered under BMS are:

I would suggest that once you complete your BMS, you should work for 2-3 years and then opt for MBA.

After B.Tech, you have two options :
-If you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch then you may opt for M.Tech.
-If you wish to move your career towards management line then you must opt for MBA.
-You have another option with you, i.e.,
You may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types after B.Tech. With a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with the technical course (M.Tech) or management course (MBA).
So, in a nutshell, it's your decision to choose between the two lines. Think and decide wisely where do you wish to see yourself in future.

As far as selecting a college is concerned, it would be tough to state one as the best as every college has it's own plus and minus points.
While selecting, you need to keep in mind the chief point that is to check the recognition. Other than this, you also need to check year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc.
Be careful while selecting a college as merely getting a degree is not enough for this competitive world.
