Both Colleges are great, and the decision depends on what do you want afterwards. NIT-Surat has a slight hand over placement. But, honestly Placements depends on student, not on college entirely. I'm not sure whether you have this information of not IIIT B is an International Institute of IT, unlike all other Indian Institute of IT. It is like a small brother to IIIT-Hyderabad. Being private, it will cost a little (80k more per annum), but in Bangalore, if you want CSE, come to the Silicon Valley itself. Every Professor, Assistant or Associate in IIIT B has Ph.D from International Schools, the UG programme isn't known to a lot of people, and so the cutoff can be really low. If you want a real gear in Engineering IIIT H and B are place to be after top IITs and BITs in ranking. Hyderabad is Better, and so have an over 300 cutoff in Mains.
