So I believe in terms of education both VIT Chennai and Vellore impart the same. However, Chennai has a better student to faculty ratio and so you would have more opportunities to do something rather than just get lost in the crowd. Placements are joint so that won't be an issue. Generally when people decide between Vellore and Chennai with a branch like ECE it comes down to:
Vellore is a bigger campus and has grander fests. Chennai is a metro city and has better facilities. Rest assured the VIT Brand name will be evident in both the campus.

Hi Sakshi,
It's not about how high you score in your 12th standard. For getting direct admission in BITS, you need to be a board topper. Otherwise, you need to appear for BITSAT. However, you have scored really well in 12th, so it would not be very difficult for you to crack BITSAT. Give it a try, you'll make it through.
All the best.

In this matter, just listen to yourself. The field in which you are fully interested, go for that. Don't decide your career in any pressure. Think about it; no one can advise you.
Because if you follow the trend, it's not necessary that you will do well in that. So just concentrate on your field of interest and decide accordingly. Good luck!

The scope of biotechnology in India is good, but mostly in the research and development field. If research is not your calling, then you can also apply for many other positions such as sales and marketing, quality control, administration, laboratory assistants and field technician. There are also many disciplines related to biotechnology that you have the option of getting into, should you choose to. These include genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, etc.

Electronics from NIT (J). Look, first of all NIT has more reputation than thapar. Though Teaching of thapar is more better than NIT, but Thapar's standard is decreasing day by day. Plus, fees gap between two is so high!
I would suggest, NITJ.

Hi, I am sure most of the states have government colleges that offer Bachelor of Science programs with combinations of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, zoology, biotechnology, physiotherapy, nursing etc. Alternately if you want to do engineering or medicine, ensure to write the respective entrance exams too.
