A Diploma holder can join B.Tech course (regular or distance) by D2D process after completing Diploma in Engineering. B.Tech programme allows Diploma students to take entry directly into second year of engineering course. For taking admission in B.Tech, you must have done at least 3 years Diploma after 10th in any branch of engineering. Some colleges take admission through lateral entry exams like Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive exam, etc. So you need to appear and crack these exams. Some colleges conducted their own entrance exam for getting entry. Admission procedure varies from college to college. So you will have to contact colleges individually.

Before we go to the answer, ask yourself why do you want to take up any of these management course. If you plan to pursue a Ph.D. or Higher education or plan to take a government. Job or Teaching in India, don't even waste your money and time on PGDBA. In general, institutes running MBA courses are approved by respective Universities and another supreme holy cow called - AICTE. Also, get over this confusion of PGDBA and PGDM offer by Iims. Iims do not, I repeat DO NOT offer PGDBA. Coming to PGDBA - Barring few respectable exceptions, many a times under the disguise of PGDBA, these so called management institutes are luring students and actually offering this course in Distance Learning mode. Of course, as I mentioned above there would be few respectable exceptions, who would be focused on career development of students. Beware! Do not fall in any trap and avoid any tier-3/tier-4 institute. Eventually you would earn money back, but not those precious 2 years.
