There are two major factors that need to be considered before choosing a particular stream:
Aptitude of the student
Personal Interests
Law courses after class XII- BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.COM LLB, B.SC LLB
So you can pick either of Arts, Commerce or Science. Analyze the various opportunities available and select the right path based on your personal criteria which should include:
*The interest and aptitude towards the subject
*Interest to get a job
*The future Demand for the particular program
You may also start working on essential skills for a successful career in law-

Distinguish the relevant from the irrelevant, screen evidence, and apply the law
Ability to persuade, convince, argue
Integrity, character
Interest in detail
Ability to assimilate and analyse facts

As per your query, it seems that you are currently pursuing B.Tech and wish to pursue MBA after completing your graduation, so regarding this please remember you may surely pursue MBA immediately after completing your graduation, as in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
However, it is always advisable to work for 2-3 years after completing graduation and then opting for MBA, the advantage of this step would be that after working for few years you would know which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects.
This work experience of yours would give you competitive advantage over other candidates with no work experience during MBA admission.
Finally if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses for your further studies.
Please note that, the final selection in MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students.
2. Score in various management entrance test.
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.
Please note that all the top B-schools in India do give weightage to work experience, however please remember you need to have atleast one year of full time work experience after graduation then only your work experience would be given weightage during MBA admission.
