If you are a engineering aspirant you may go through Diploma / Poly technique or 6 Years Integrated BTech. Otherwise it will be better if you Pass Higher Secendery in any discipline.
If you can justify the Gap Year in appropriate places ; It doesn't matter at all.

This essentially means, you should have the ability to understand the various nuances involved in the decision making process, related to your subject in the Mains. You can look at buying books of Arihant Publications or Pearsons. Buy the book which has mock tests and solve the paper under strict exam conditions. See your score and more impor

Hi Siva,
There are many civil services preparatory institutes in Tamil Nadu such as
Shankar IAS Academy
Indian IAS Academy
SUCCESS IAS Academy
Excell Career India
Ganesh IAS
PINNACLE IAS Academy
Impact IAS Academy
Integrations
Madhavan IAS Academy
You should select the institute based on its track record and current infrastructure. As per my information, Shankar IAS Academy has good track record (has success rate of about 50% results of Tamil Nadu from the institute in the 5th successive year). It also has good faculty.
Feel free to raise more questions. Appreciate by giving it thumbs up or marking as best.
All the Best.
