Congratulations on getting shortlisted
for GD/PI. You need not worry much
about topics in GD. The topics are
usually not tough but are related to
current issues as well as general
topics. Eg- My topic, I don't exactly
remember the name of it, was related
to the destruction caused by humans
on their road to progress.
You can see it's not a tough topic to
discuss about. The key is to participate
in regular intervals. Be confident and
present relevant points.
For PI be prepared for questions like
why MBA, why JAMIA, your
background etc. The panel has
interviewers from every field so be a
give a quick brush up to your grads
subjects. Again be confident in the interview. Even if you say something wrong and you know it's wrong saxit with full confidence.
Also expect a 15 min write up on a
topic which will not be a tough topic.

See dear the topics is given at that only.its not decided and could be any topic related to current topics,proverbs,any situation can be given.so you have to just good at talking and speak forth in front of everyone.u should be confident to your words which you speak.So most imp part is speaking.either for or against.Like when i gave entrnce i got the topic-Chinese goods hit or flop?so i discussed against n for both.
and in PI questions would be related to the topics from subject which u did in grads.n some general basic questions like current scenario or could be anything.
but dont get threatened.the teachera are good n u will be comfrtable.just give ur best with cool mind

Sure Purav, as discussed you can opt for animation as a career especially, if you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modelling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Communication languauge is not a barrier. You must possess creativity to learn and master the art of animation film making. However, for top notch studios, you will have to gradually learn English as well.
Animation and Digital Media Careers are practical oriented and will need strong mentoring. You may enhance your knowledge but have to learn the skills thoroughly by learning at any leading institution of your choice.
Digital Media and Animation related programs are offered by lot of Government Colleges and Autonomous Institutes & Universities. NID offers UG & PG in Animation Film Making. Even IIT offers few programs in these streams under UG & PG level. You may do your best to research leading institutes offering these programs in your city & analyse the best suitable option.
