With booming IT industry, web designing has a wide scope in India. Most of the companies wishing to create their own websites look for skilled and qualified web designers. A web designer can be absorbed in different fields such as advertising agencies, publishing houses, audio-visual media agencies, design studios, printers and typesetters, manufacturers and department stores, marketing firms, exhibits and displays and educational institutes and libraries. The growth is dependant on experience and creativity. All major software companies require well-qualified web designers to lead the industry at the top rank.
Web designing relates to the design of web pages, websites and web applications. It is a medium used by companies to promote their business and corporate agencies to market several products to the customers. Web Designing is the process by which web designer make visitors able to access the web pages at one platform with several images, texts, links, graphics etc. Web designing is a career in which a professional simply sell his high creative skills. A designer who can deliver the latest as per the market demands like designs for e-commerce websites, content management systems, optimized flash headers, etc. will surly have a bright future.
To become a web designer one should learn the followings:-
1.Learn Perl scripting or PHP, phython scripting.
2.Learn data base concept which can be used as a database interface with the web application
3. Learn HTML forms which can be used as dynamic scripts in the HTDOCS directory where Application is installed has to pick up that html file.
4.Learn Perl CGI scripts which is required for Action point of scripts from client user level and has to execute under server level.
5.Basically Perl CGI will get the inputs from user level HTML page from the GUI part of the application. Here the CGI mean the "common gateway Interface".
For being a good web designer you need to know about what you have to learn. The basic starts with HTML I.e, Hypertext Markup Language it is used to design simple web pages without more hassle.
There are two types of web pages Static and Dynamic, static means no changes in page but dynamic means animation and multimedia contents. After HTML, you can go for Javascript, Vbscript they are simple scripting languages and they are very light and can be easily learned.
