Generally, the closing rank in KCET for RVCE:
Civil: 3354
CSE: 573
ECE: 798
EE: 622
ME: 584
From the above tables, we can suppose that KCET which see a number of applicants higher than that of COMEDK, but yet latter has a similar cut off as KCET but for less number of candidates. Although one can't exactly tell what should be your rank to be able to get a seat in RV college of engineering as the last year cutoffs can't exactly predict your chances as the cutoffs are based on so many factors so it isn't ever constant.
Visit for details: http://www.btechadmission.co.in/
But to be on safe side, its best if you have:
Civil: 2500 (COMEDK), 2700 (KC

With these marks you can do MBA in UK. In fact it costs less than what you get in Bangalore. You can even do a 2-year MBA in leadership in Edinburgh Napier University, which is a two year programme with internship. You can get details in www.napier.ac.uk.

Aerospace will provide you with more opportunities abroad but ECE will give you loads of opportunities in India itself. Though the thing to consider here is that, IIT Kharagpur is an old IIT & much more established than any of the new IITs which will very much be visible during placements and in other avenues. Please decide accordingly.

If you are good at mathematics, especially probability and statistics, then you don't need to be worried. In the real world, you need three things to be a data scientist- (Which would depend on the projects you take on).
Learn this if you haven't, you will need this more than the other two if aren't familiar with anything in the field.
3. Coding-Since you are a student of commerce, I am assuming that you don't know coding. I suggest you start learning, and in a few months you will know enough to call yourself a coder! Coding is extremely fun, but also requires patience while solving/debugging tough problems.
