I can totally understand your dilemma in this case as I have been through the same.
Now, you need understand that there are two important things to consider while seeking admission.
(i) A branch of your choice but from a not so good institute = Not much value.
(ii) A not so demanding engineering branch from a good institute= Not much value either.

Yes there is scopes in instrumentation engineering in the same trade and as if it will be considered as per the concerned theme as per allotment in all other trades.in these terms as per the concern of getting them in real issue.the top colleges for the same concern as per the given allotment with the performa in all the trades like we all know that CSE has much more gud scopes and also the same allotment of doing the course and also much more high salary packages for this branch.so now in these days.instrumentation is gud.but CSE is much more better than that.ECE electronics and communication in on second rank.and the colleges having so much good placement with high salary packages are named as-
