The cutoff trend for BTech at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech. under general category for all India quota was 28243. In 2023, it increased to 37530. GSFC University has been setup under Gujarat State Private Universities act 2009. AICTE approval is not required for a University to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Honorable Supreme Court judgment in the case of Bharathidasan University & ANR vs. All India Council for Technical Education & Organisation.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering COMEDK Round 2 cutoff for Biotechnology Engineering is 32442 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering accepts Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) score for admission to the BE/ BTech course. For Dayananda Sagar College, round 2 was the last round for KCET. As per the  Dayananda Sagar College cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for BE in Computer Science & Technology was 3677 for the General All India category student. Yes, to enrol in BTech programme at GFSC University, student can get admission through JEE (Mains). The eligibility to BTech programee are based on State Quota Seat and All India Seats (Management Quota). For better understanding students can check the points mentioned below:

  • State Quota Seat- The state quota seats of the BTech programme will be filled by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Govt. of Gujarat.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For COMEDK Round 2 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 11990 and closing rank was 19216 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Aeronautical Engineering in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is based on the scores obtained in the COMEDK entrance exam. Your rank should preferably fall within the closing rank range indicated for the relevant programme and category in order to be admitted to the Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM) for B.Tech programmes through the WBJEE. The table you gave for the WBJEE Round 2 in 2022 lists the final rankings for each programme and category.
