Mode of Admission
For General/SC/ST/PH/OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates:
• On the basis of Written test, Group Discussion and Interview.
• The Written Test is organised at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.
• Based on marks obtained in the written test, candidates are called for Group Discussion and Interview to be held between fourth week of January and middle of February at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
For Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI:
• On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT)
• For MBA, GMAT result should not have been declared before 1 January,and should be received by the Institute latest by 31 March.

Different levels of Chartered Accountancy Course are: Common Proficiency Test (CPT), Professional Competence Course (PCC), and Final Course. Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is designed in the pattern of entry level test for engineering, medical and other professional courses. PCC first stage of the chartered accountancy curriculum wherein only working knowledge of core and allied subjects to accountancy profession is covered, while at the Final course, advanced application knowledge of core and allied subjects to accountancy profession has been intended to be inculcated. The requirements for becoming chartered accountant are: 1) Enrol with the Institute for Common Proficiency Test after passing Class 10 examination. 2) Appear CPT examination after appearing in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) and after completion of specified period (i.e. 60 days) from the date of registration for CPT prior to the first day of the month in which examination to be held with the Board of Studies. As you are in class 11th, you may register for CPT exam. But, you may appear to CPT exam after giving class 12th. 3) Join PCC, articled training and register for 100 hours ITT after passing CPT and 10+2 examination.
