Further to what Dr.Goutam has stated, I wish to add that it may be wise to do a mass communication course and then specialize in film making from FTII or a good University like UCLA. A good Masters degree will certainly open you up to the semiotic world of films + a few good years in understanding India and its environment will give a grounding that an artist needs to become a better filmmaker.

1. Aptitude & logical reasoning questions. --- during 6th sem
2. C++ and JAVA (Basic & advance course) --- during 4th & 5th Sem and keep practicing till campus.
3. Computer networks.----- during 7th sem
4. Operating system ( Windows, Linux)----- during 6th sem
