There is no particular cutoff mark but the admission is based on the All India rank that you get in VITEEE. To get civil engineering at VIT, Vellore, your rank should be at least below 5000.

In fact, NIT Trichy is one of the best NITs, as far as the admission is concerned a min mark of 250+ is required for electronics, unless you belong to some reserved categories. You can check your eligibility on Shiksha's JEE Main rank predictor.
