Hi Seetaram, as per your query I would say that Group I exam, i.e., Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission exam is conducted for the purpose of filling in suitable candidates in various Government posts in Tamil Nadu. The group I exam is mostly for senior level eg. Deputy or District Collector, Deputy Registrar etc.
Eligibility Criteria :
-Minimum Age limit : should have completed 21 yrs.
-Candidate must be graduate from any recognized university / institute.
You must prepare yourself in various areas like History, Geography, Politics, General Science, General Knowledge area. You also must prepare for the Quantitative Ability, Computer Basics, Logical Reasoning.
You could also purchase some books related to current affairs and General Knowledge. Do give importance to Tamil language and culture as there will around 20% questions in this area. Make sure to cover all the areas required for the test. Solve as many papers as possible.

The EPGP programme is of one year duration unlike the 2 year PGP program. The eligibility criteria for this programme is a minimum of 5 years of work /entrepreneurial /professional experience.
