Debanjana, there is a huge requirement of creatively inclined people in the field of design and animation. There is also a demand growing for game artists. Both of these fields require a background like yours. So you can head to this field without fear. Once you learn the tools, you must apply them in your own unique manner in sync with your style. That is what helps you find a unique space in this field. I am sure you will do well with proper mentoring. Here is a small article i wrote on Shiksha website about how to select the right college https://www.shiksha.com/questions-to-ask-before-you-pick-an-animation-college-article-4699-1. W

Ameya, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is reg

Seinorita if you've not complete 10+2 you cannot take admission into NID or NIIFT. However, you can still pursue design. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Technology, Augmented Reality, 3
