Organic chemistry requires a good understanding of the processes which takes place during a reaction and formation of several such groups and compounds. Thus, one should start from the very basic concepts. A few tips for completing the syllabus should are:
-Understand the nomenclature without just cramming it. You should understand the way we assign a particular name to a compound. Identify and Learn the different groups in organic chemistry, and practice to name at least 5 compounds daily.
-Cover the short chapters first, the last chapters specially. These will be easy to understand and you can write the chain-reactions again and again to get them on your finger tips.
- Chapters such as 'Principles of Organic Chemistry' and 'Hydrocarbons' are very helpful to cover the rest of the organic chemistry chapters, so take time to cover it.
Ask your friends and take help from Google if you are not clear about anything in these.
-Organic chemistry is an interesting subject, don't lose hope and don't take pressure to just finish with it.
-Chemical properties is the most important section of all the chapters.

NTA will announce cutoff for JEE Mains 2019 based on the combined results of the test already conducted in January and the one which is going to be conducted in the month of April. Those students who may appear for both the exams, the best of two marks will be considered. Hence I would advise you to have some patience and wait till the exams of April are finished and the results announced. Usually, the minimum eligibility for the course is 10+2 with subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. English is also a mandatory subject for eligibility in many of the universities and colleges. However, AIIMS requires an aggregate of 60% for the general category candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates. Also, along with these prerequisites, certain universities like Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi limits the age of the candidates ranging between 17 and 25. While, on the other hand, AIIMS has set the lower limit to be 17 years of age for any candidate to apply for the course. The basic eligibility for admission in any of the Medical Colleges is 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English. However, this is not the only criteria for admission; the students have to take an entrance exam in order to prove themselves fit for the admission in any of the medical colleges. The major entrance exams are AIIMS Entrance Exam and NEET Exam.
