Organic chemistry requires a good understanding of the processes which takes place during a reaction and formation of several such groups and compounds. Thus, one should start from the very basic concepts. A few tips for completing the syllabus should are:
-Understand the nomenclature without just cramming it. You should understand the way we assign a particular name to a compound. Identify and Learn the different groups in organic chemistry, and practice to name at least 5 compounds daily.

Hello Rakesh,
Yes, Diploma holders are authorised to get admission in lateral mode in to 2nd year of engineering in any branch. However there are certain conditions to be fulfilled which are normally given by the Directorate of technical education of the concerned state. Here I would like to add that IIT do not accept lateral admission but have declared Diploma as equivalent to 12th and you can appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced to get into IIT.

Hello Laxman,
NTA will announce cutoff for JEE Mains 2019 based on the combined results of the test already conducted in January and the one which is going to be conducted in the month of April. Those students who may appear for both the exams, the best of two marks will be considered. Hence I would advise you to have some patience and wait till the exams of April are finished and the results announced. Usually, the minimum eligibility for the course is 10+2 with subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
