Students applying should have successfully finished a Master of Arts in History or any equivalents course with minimum of 55% aggregate score. Beside M.A. Score some colleges conduct their entrance examination and a personal interview. Hence, the admission is based on scores of entrance exam. https://www.shiksha.com/humanities-social-sciences/history/course/m-a-in-history-gujarat-university-navrangpura-ahmedabad-270272.

Yes, but only when you fulfil the following requirements:
1: You must have enough marks in JELET. This is a priority.
2: You must be willing for a change in the department of your choice.
Don't know about your Diploma college, but HIT-K has labs and lectures on a regular basis, so if you wish to change your way from civil to CSE, you would have to be sincere about the course curriculum.
Best wishes.
