For a career in fields related to finance, banks, mutual funds, investment banking, accountancy, etc. Commerce is the right choice.
For Psychology, generally the subject is required at class XI for graduation admission.
However, considering all factors- Commerce should be the ideal decision.

There is NO prescribed syllabus for the written test. The written test aims to test the understanding and analytical ability of the student than his/her factual knowledge. However, students are tested for the syllabus up to class XII.
