Surely there are courses after diploma in Electrical Engineering. Diploma is a course that builds up a platform for individuals to pursue higher studies such as Bachelors of technology in Electrical engineering(B.Tech). B.tech is a course that can be pursued by diploma holders and gives them a wider scope.
You can pursue B.Tech course in distance learning from UGC approved and government accredited universities at affordable rates which is specially designed for working individuals who have a tight job schedule and this mode is profitable to them as they can pursue their course along with their job.
To pursue Msc, you first need to complete your bachelors degree.

Dear Prateek, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course is run by Government of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation, DGCA, not by any ordinary university or college. Government of India is not an educational body to award degree or diploma, whatever qualification, rights or privilege they are providing, are in forms of licences only for very specialized courses and streams in various fields. The candidates can go for higher studies after B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering. The candidates can go for their degree in aeronautical engineering. Some of the post graduate courses are:
Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Aerospace EngineeringMaster of Engineering (M.E) in Aeronautical Engineering
The candidates can also go for MBA programs. To do the post graduate programs, the aspirants have to appear for the entrance examinations like GATE, CAT, MAT, TANCET, etc. The candidate can choose the post graduate degree according to their wish.

The common merit list that is prepared is based on the candidate’s performance in the exam. Please remember that only those aspirants, who have taken both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for ranking.
As far as the marking system is concerned, the marks secured by a candidate in Physics will be equal to the marks he/she secures in Physics part of Paper 1 plus marks in Physics part of Paper 2. The same procedure is followed for Chemistry and Mathematics too. Thus, the sum of the marks obtained in individual subjects in JEE Advanced 2015 will be the aggregate marks for the aspirant.
Coming back to the merit list, aspirants must have scored at least 10% in each subject and 35% in aggregate in order to be in the common merit list(CML). Separate lists will be prepared for the prepared for general, OBC (NCL), SC and ST category students.
Students from OBC (NCL) category should have scored at least 9% in each subject and 31.5% in aggregate in order to be in the OBC (NCL) merit list. However, students from the SC and ST categories must score at least 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate in order to be in their respective merit lists.
Merit lists for PwD candidates:
Separate merit lists will be prepared for PwD candidates who further belong to the GE, OBC (NCL), SC and ST categories. To be in these merit lists, candidates must score at least 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate.

Difference Between BTech and BSc:-
B.Tech. is a professional Bachelors’ degree program whereas B.Sc. is only an academic Science graduation course. B Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology whereas B.Sc. is Bachelor of Science. Since B Tech is an engineering graduation, B Tech students have to study the vast techniques involved in a particular subject. They have to study about the processes involved in designing new instruments, techniques or programs, which comes under their field of study. On the contrary, B.Sc. graduates may have to study the working principles about an instrument or a process that is included in their curriculum.
Duration of B Tech and B.Sc. programs:-
Although both these are graduation programs, B Tech is a four year duration course. Aspirants can complete the B.Sc. programs within three years. Engineering colleges offer the B Tech programs whereas aspirants have to pursue the B.Sc. programs from Science and Arts colleges.
Key differentiators:-
Even if B Tech and B.Sc. graduates have taken same specializations, B Tech students may have in depth knowledge about the construction, designing and other internal mechanisms concerned with a subject. However, B.Sc. students may only know about the theoretical and practical applications of the instruments, equipments or processes in their field of study.
