If you are a general category other state student, there are no hopes of getting into Electrical Engineering in NIT Rourkela. However if you are a Home State candidate there are fair chances in the 4th round or spot round of counselling. If you have an OBC/SC or ST certificate, AIR 24514 is good enough to get you a seat in Electrical Engineering in NIT Rourkela. If you are keen on doing MBA, then BBA will help you. You can also do B.Tech and then pursue MBA. Its your choice. It would be better if you take up BBA and prepare for MBA exams simultaneously.
