Hello Suraj, Both the courses are considered equivalent. The BE course is more oriented in developing new technologies and advantages. The B.Tech course, on the other hand, focuses on using these developments and making the changes required to suit the project assigned. Either of the courses is considered good. Choose based on the profile that suits you.

Komal, there are many good private universities in North India that have a reputation for providing quality education. They offer admissions in PG engineering courses on the basis of GATE scores/ their own tests/ marks in previous qualifying exams, so, try there.

Yes, of course we have sports quota in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. We are one of the best colleges in Sports in all over India. We do have really rich sports culture.
But, what course you choose that's not a sole course. It is an ancillary subject which is offered with all BA honors & B.Sc in Mass Communication & Videography.
