If you want to get IIT/NIT in your native, you need to score high in IIT-Mains/Advanced. To score high in IIT entrance exam you need to put a dedicated effort. It depends on the SRM campus you are comparing with. VIT Bhopal is the 3rd campus of VIT after Vellore and Chennai and SRM's main campus stands at par with the VIT's Vellore campus so it depends on which campus you are focusing on.

Hi Navaratna,
The fee might vary from college to college, but the cap put by the university is 1,70,000 per annum. Some colleges take a lesser amount but none of the top 5 colleges does. Being said that, Is it worth? Definitely, you need to see the advantages you get by being in Bangalore itself worth that money. Other than that some colleges have Scholarship programme based on your academic results, so you can work hard and get those as well.

Hello Gursimran, Yes, one can definitely do any course after B.Tech via distance mode. I would advise you to download the brochure cum application form of IGNOU. There you will find plenty of courses that you can do.

It is not MITSOM now. All are come under MITWPU university. Placement department is very responsible here but companies mostly come for core branches like Marketing and Finance. Other fields have to struggle for placements.
CSR-MKT has growing career path and in MIT you will get good exposure.
