Both are average colleges, so you can choose any one based on the fee structure and location. It's your CV which you build in five years that matter and not the colleges.
So don't get disappointed and work hard. Good luck.

Hello,
B.Tech Aerospace engineer. I will openly say that there are about only 20 out of every 100 Engineers, working in somewhat related fields, rest 80 either change their stream or work in the business development region. You will certainly never get a chance to experience your engineering skills. Even with Masters, you will hardly find any job for fresher. Government organizations like ISRO, NAL, ADA, DRDL will hire only if you clear the GATE exam and tier vacancies are about only 510 seats per year for aero in particular and some years they don't hire too. People saying private companies like Airbus ( manufacturing and R&D), Tata-pi
...more

There are 50-50 chances, you may get or you may not get mechanical as last year, the closing rank was around 13k.
But you may get civil in NIT, Warangal, which is also a very good branch. But if you are only targeting mechanical, then it's better to have another option ready, because you are not sure of getting mechanical in NIT-W.
You also have a chance of sliding your branch in NIT-W, based on your first-year performance. My suggestion would be putting mechanical NIT-W as the first option and civil NIT-W as your second option.
