Of course the degree is worth it. Chemical engineering is a vast sector. Job opportunities are high but only problem is to get into job. Once you get into a good firm like FMCG sectors or core chemical making company you will be getting alot knowledge production wise. Top firms are there like ONGC, IOL and HUL, etc. Make a way and sure u will get satisfied with your decision you have taken. I know all this because I myself is a chemical engineer. Hope this helps.
