Overall it's a good place to learn and expose for a better tomorrow. At the last word I would add as you are going to be a part of India's top 10 central university. The university have their own entrance exam which is almost similar to other examination pattern. It includes general awareness, mathematics and computer science. You will have the cheapest fee for the course anywhere in Indian central universities. For mass communication program they charge around 20k including all the semester and hostel fees. Job placement is well. They have a placement cell and organized for each student. The minimum package for a mass media student however depends on the field that he/she selects and varies. The university helps in getting an internship to get an industry exposure. You will decide only in which areas you are going to do an internship. For a mass communication students the industry is very big. You can join may be television, radio, print media ,advertising or public relations .You will have the best campus in the entire college life. The university is just near to the beach situated over east coast road which connects you to main city. The campus is full of trees and plants which provides the best environment.
