Hi Shreya, First of all, let me tell you that you are not the only person to have a drop in engineering. There are many!
I'll tell you one inspiring story happened in my batch only. I'm a fresh passout. In my batch there were 3-4 dropouts. 2 of them were very sincere. One of these 2 has cracked GRE with a score of 320 and another has bagged a placement in core field. Never give up. Just do some more hard work and you'll be surely successful. All the Best!

This is really a confused minds question. Generally, it happens when we study in B.Tech. Most of aspirants just pursue engineering like a B.A. Degree these days. First they complete engineering and start looking for option to secure a decent job. But my friend B.Tech itself is a complete degree which can provide you any opportunity. Lets think over your query, M.Tech or MBA, both are completely opposite. One takes you to specialised domain in your Technical subjects you studied in B.Tech and other onc can move you to completely different field which requires fresh understanding and knowledge over several business related stuff.
