Application process for UIET Chandigarh:
Eligibility: Candidates should have completed 10+2 in Science stream from a recognised institute or board.
Entrance Exam: UIET BTech admission is based on the candidate's rank in JEE Main.
Application: Candidates need to fill out an application form, which can be found on the official website of UIET Chandigarh.
Documents: Candidates need to submit the following documents along with the application form: mark sheet of qualifying examinations, payment details, and a scanned photograph with name and date.

UIET Chandigarh admission to BTech is based on JEE Main score. The inter-se merit of the candidates for BE admission will be determined on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) obtained in JEE Main only, except in the Sports Category and the Defence Category. After completion of the selection rounds, BE candidates have to participate in JAC Counselling and provide their preferred institute. Once the seat is allotted, candidates need to pay course fee to confirm their seat.

The DBATU, the highest package offered in the past few years of placements has not been released officially. However, the median package for BTech is disclosed. During 2022 placements, the median package stood at INR 5 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered in 2021 was comparatively less and the amount stood at INR 3.48 LPA. Yes, any candidate who has passed BE/ BTech/ MSc or equivalent with a minimum 60% aggregate are eligible to apply for IIT Delhi M.Tech programme. Aspirants must also qualify GATE for admission to MTech. Aspirants with a score equal to or more than the cutoff also have to go through a counselling round. Once selected, aspirants have to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
