If you are planning to go for Chartered Accountancy course you definitely can go ahead as CA offers bright career opportunities but you need to keep in mind that CA is a very difficult examination to crack and needs a complete devotion & focus and a lot of hard work so, I would suggest that if there is no compulsion to do a job you should completely focus on the preparation of CA. In any case to become a certified Chartered Accountant you need to complete your articleship which is around 3 years along with your final Examination which will give you enough Industry exposure. So, you need not start working under CA as of now.

There are not too many one-year MBA programs through distance learning. You mostly have 2-yr or 3-yr programs. 1-yr programs are mainly fast track or executive full-time programs that you need to attend as a full-time student. If you some work experience and are planning on a change of career or taking up a job with a different profile than you currently have then its better that you go for a one-year full-time PGPX courses that are conducted by IIMs for executives with work experience. They are definitely going to be helpful.
The problem would be more in terms of what kind of companies come on campus for placements as executive
