Hope you did well in CAT. Academic grades would not affect your chance of getting a PI call from IIFM if you clear the cut off of 50-75 percentile as per your category.
We will be able to help you better if you could specify your category while asking such questions. Also, wait for XAT results if you have taken the test.

Hi, since you have a valid and recognized undergraduate degree Yes, you are eligible for taking the exam. AIEED 2019 Eligibility Criteria for PG programmes (2 years duration).

Hi Soumen,CPT and Foundation both are same. Actually now the CA course has been changed (Called New Course) in which the entrance test is known as Foundation while in the old course it is known as CPT (Common Proficiency Test). If you take the admission. You will automatically get registered under the New Course therefore you have to take Foundation while filling the registration form.

IIT is a better option.
Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs)
because IITs college have good placement, good infrastructure.
We got admission in NIT by crack JEE Mains exam
but in IIT we got admission by crack JEE Mains + JEE Advance.

For LPU's graphic design (design) courses, you generally need at least 50% in 12th along with qualifying the entrance requirement (like LPUNEST or equivalent).
