Hope you did well in CAT. Academic grades would not affect your chance of getting a PI call from IIFM if you clear the cut off of 50-75 percentile as per your category.

because IITs college have good placement, good infrastructure.
We got admission in NIT by crack JEE Mains exam
but in IIT we got admission by crack JEE Mains + JEE Advance.

For LPU's graphic design (design) courses, you generally need at least 50% in 12th along with qualifying the entrance requirement (like LPUNEST or equivalent).
With 47.8%, you are slightly below the minimum eligibility, so admission may not be possible as per standard criteria.
For exact confirmation or any relaxation, it's best to check with the LPU admission team or official website.
