BHM is mostly offered by private institutes affiliated to state universities and is of 4 years duration. Apart from this there is no such major difference as both the degrees are equally recognised by industry and for other purposes.

You want to join CME, Pune? It's very simple, but tough. Even though in the name it's an engineering college, it's not! At least for majority of students.
