Candidates should have a strong hold on the subject matter he/she wishes to take. Preparation should start from revising Bachelor's level topics. There are few points that can help candidates in their preparation.

Time-Table: It is advised that candidates make a time-table and plan their daily routine. Divide major subjects in broad categories and then allot time to each category. Candidates willing to secure a seat in Amity University UG courses should hold a Senior Secondary School Certificate or should have cleared an equivalent examination from a recognized Board. The candidate should have secured 60% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination. For some UG courses, the minimum marks range between 50-60%. Candidates belonging to reserved categories get a relaxation of 5% marks. Admission to all courses offered by Amity University is granted through an Entrance Test conducted by the University. The entrance test is an Essay test followed by an interview round/group discussion round (depending on course selection). Candidates who have secured 80+ aggregate in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards) need not appear for the selection process. These candidates have to apply directly and they will be granted admission on the basis of the admission form only.
