To become eligible for safety officer level you need to posses a degree in Engineering or technology with 2 yrs exp in a factory in a supervisory capacity or possess a degree in physics or chemistry from a recognised university and has practical exp in a factory in a supervisory capacity for a period of not less then 5 yrs.
