After MCA, you have two opportunities, either you may continue studies or you may start working.

* There are not much job oriented courses available after MCA as the students after their course directly enter into the software field.
* Short term courses like ASP.Net, J2EE, Data warehousing and PHP will be added as an advantage during the course of their career.
* Organizations like NIIT, DOEACC etc provide some job oriented courses.

If you wish to work, then there are many career opportunities available after MCA.
- Graduate professionals from this field can seek employment in public and private sectors, banking, insurance, accounting, stock markets, e-commerce and marketing.
- One can also opt for teaching jobs in universities and colleges.

* Salary :
Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
