Hi,
1) To pursue B.Sc, one needs to score a minimum of 50% marks in 12th with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) from any recognized board. The admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. The cut off marks varies from year to year.

Hi Rajesh. You need not worry at all. You will need to submit gap affidavit mentioning the reason for 1 year gap. The best one you can give is that you took 1 year drop to prepare for engineering exams. Approach a good lawyer for legal advise as well.
