Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
To give you a brief idea,
- Pharmacists can earn attractive income in private and government hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and clinics etc.
- Pharmacist's initial income in government hospitals is around Rs.6,000/- to Rs. 10,000/- every month.
- Graduates working in clinics and in private hospitals can earn more than those of government hospital workers.
- Professionals who are engaged in private practice can earn good remuneration depending upon their popularity and skills.
- Professionals who are working in private sector pharmaceutical industries have a pay scale of Rs.12, 000/- to Rs.20, 000/- every month depending on factor such as qualification, experience and profile.

One sitting graduation degree is illegal and not acceptable for higher education or jobs in any sector. So, it is advisable that you join three years full time or distance under graduate degree program.

As far as job in government sector is concerned, you need to be a graduate (3 years course) from a recognized university and clear the required entrance test. You may visit the official website for specific criteria details for the desired post.
