Hi,
Yes, 4 backlogs should not be a major problem. You can give an excuse anyway like falling ill, or a family uncertainty or something of your own. My point is, it should not be a problem for you.
Hope my answer has solved your query. If it has, kindly mark it as best answer.

MAT will get you admission, only in the second rung, B Schools . It is imperative for you, to do your MBA from the top 100 B Schools, in India . Most of these B Schools, accept only CAT scores. You can look at giving your CAT exam, in November 2011 . You will be investing a big amount to do your MBA , so kindly ensure, that you get into a reputed B School .

Ishaan i'm afraid not. You have to either clear GATE with good percentile or write entrance for doing M.Teach. Even if you want to get into a good college through Management Quota, you have to pass the entrance test conducted by the university you desire to study. This rule holds good for all institutions and universities that are accredited with A by NAAC.
All the best.

You will be wasting your time and money, by joining an event management course. Event Management is a field which cannot be taught. The dynamics are totally different and each assignment is totally different, from the other. Your best bet is to start working with a small event management company, to start with and learn the ropes.

You need to do your MBA from the top 100 B Schools, in India . Most of these B Schools accept only CAT scores . MAT will get you admission, only in the second rung B Schools, which will add no value, to your degree . I suggest, you give your CAT in November 2011 , and make it a pint to clear it, with an excellent percentile . You can also find out the cut off percentages, of some reputed B Schools, which will help you focus, on your preparation .
