To pursue M.Sc in Signal and Processing, you need to score at least 50% in B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant disciplines with a strong foundation in Introductory Digital Signal Processing or Signals and Systems. 1. If you wish to be a teacher in school, then go for B.ED and crack Teacher Eligibility Test. Eligibility conditions are:
(a) Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern
(b) Having studied at least two subjects at the bachelor's degree level, to be later taken as school teaching subjects
2. Else if you aim at being a lecturer, then I would advice you to go for a regular masters degree in a relevant discipline and clear U.G.C NET conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects can appear for the exam. Those who have acquired post graduation from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.

After B.Tech in Mechanical engineering you have two options :
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch .
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line.
You have another option with you, i.e.,
You may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with the technical course (M.Tech) or management course (MBA).
So, in a nutshell, it's your decision to choose between the two lines. Think and decide wisely where do you wish to see yourself in future.
