In order to pursue MBA, the candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor's degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree.

Selections for the post-graduate programmes are done through a two-stage process. In the first stage, candidates will have to appear for CAT2011. The candidates will be short-listed based on CAT2011 score and academic performance. In the second stage, candidates will have take a Written Ability Test (WAT) and appear before a panel for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) Candidates short-listed for PGDCM will have to appear for a separate Personal Interview, which will also evaluate candidates' competence and interest in ICT. A candidate (including a reserved category candidate) to be short-listed for GD and PI for admission to both the post-graduate-programmes i.e., PGDM and PGDCM will have to obtain a minimum level CAT percentile scores as spelt out below. However, the actual cut-off used for short-listing, however, may be higher than the minimum cut-off and would depend upon the performance of candidates in CAT2011. Cut-off for short-listing of candidates may be different for different categories (e.g. Open, SC, ST, NC-OBC and DA candidates).
Final selection for both the programmes PGDM and PGDCM is made using multiple criteria, such as performance in CAT2011, WAT, GD and PI and relevant Work Experience.
